A loaded firearm was discovered during a traffic stop on Tuesday.

Officers learned a passenger or passengers in a white Chevrolet Impala fired shots in the area resulting in several of the shots striking a residence.

Lonnie Petty pleaded guilty to one count of illegal possession of a machine gun and one count of illegal transfer of a machine gun.
