Two charged in Williamson County murder investigation

Williamson Co. Sheriff's Dept.

Two people have been charged in connection to a recent murder in Williamson County.

On June 30, Deputies with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a body located in the 8000 block of Chittyville Road. The victim, identified as Richard Frank John Hernandez, was found dead inside an abandoned residence.

On July 1, an autopsy revealed that Hernandez had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

As the investigation progressed, Detectives uncovered additional criminal activity, including armed robbery and unlawful restraint.

Authorities say one of the suspects provided a confession, including details of the murder, which were corroborated by witness statements and supporting evidence.

On July 3, Anthony Henderson and Wyatt Holland were taken into custody for Armed Robbery in a case unrelated to the homicide investigation.

On July 5, both were charged with Armed Robbery in a separate, unrelated incident.

Then, on Wednesday, Williamson County State’s Attorney Ted Hampson charged Henderson and Holland with First Degree Homicide in the death of Hernandez.
